Our Church
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
Again, Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in
darkness but will have the light of life.” – John 8:12
RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is for those who desire to become members of the Catholic Church by receiving the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Holy Eucharist.
Each year, St. Patrick’s offers the opportunity to participate in a time of preparation and discernment, where you will have the opportunity to truly dive into the Catholic faith.
Our preparation sessions are held weekly on Wednesday evenings from 8:00 – 9:00 PM, will begin on November 6, 2024, and finish right before Easter in April 2025.
Your commitment to the time of preparation is so vital! While we recognize that “life happens” and you may have to miss an occasional session, regular attendance is an important part of the orderly and progressive nature of instruction and enlightenment.
Ultimately, the process of getting one’s heart, mind and soul ready to become a member of the Catholic Church, rooted in history and rich in tradition, is an individual journey, and our Lord Jesus is with you every step of the way!
To join our group this year, please register now and we will be in touch with you soon.
