Baptism Preparation Course

New parents or those who have not celebrated Baptism within the last three years are asked to attend a Baptism Preparation Course here at the parish.
Preparation classes are generally held on the second Saturday of the month from 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM.

Celebration of Baptism  

Baptisms are generally celebrated on the 3rd Saturday of each month at 10:00 AM 

Please Note:

Catholic Godparent Requirements 

Only one godparent is required, however, if you choose two, it must be one male and one female.

• Age: The godparent must be at least 16 years old.
• Catholicism: The godparent must be a baptized Catholic who has received the sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist
• Practice: The godparent must be a practicing Catholic who leads a life of faith
• Marriage: If married, the godparent must be in a valid Catholic marriage
• Cohabitation: If single, the godparent cannot be cohabiting without being married
• Family: The godparent cannot be the child’s parent

If choosing a second godparent, they may also be Catholic or a validly baptized Christian (this person is considered a “Christian Witness”).
