Kent Wang • CPA-CA
Finance Council Chair
Kent holds a Bachelor of Management Degree from the University of Lethbridge and a Chartered Professional Accountant designation. He and his wife Kathy, own Olaf Packaging Group, an importer and distributor of fresh food packaging.
Kent’s current Board memberships are: Lumen Faith and Leadership Canada, the Clear Water Academy Property Foundation, and the Alberta Food Processing Association.
Kent and Kathy have been married for 31 years and have 3 adult children.
Kent and Kathy entered the Catholic Church in 2014 and have taken on many apostolates, particularly within Regnum Christi to help build Christ’s Kingdom.
Marilou Gayos
Marilou is a Certified Public Accountant in the Philippines with 13 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry before migrating to Canada in 2003.
In Canada, she has over 20 years of experience working with the same oil and gas company, having held various roles throughout her career. She currently works as the Benefits Data and Technical Lead where she brings expertise in payroll and benefit systems. She has earned the Payroll Leadership CPM designation from the Canadian Payroll Association.
Marilou is married to Deacon Ferdie Gayos; she is a mother of five and grandmother of four. She has actively served as a lector in various parishes while being a strong and consistent support to her husband in his diaconal ministry.
Francisco Zea
Dieter Hart
Dieter was baptized and confirmed into the Catholic Church in 2005 after completing the RCIA program. He has been married to his wife Bernadette for 25 years and has two sons. Over the years, he has remained an active participant in parish life, serving as a Eucharistic minister and contributing to the RCIA program as both a speaker and sponsor.
Dieter brings 27 years of senior finance and risk management experience in the energy sector, including executive leadership roles overseeing trading, financial operations, and enterprise risk. He has also served as Treasurer of the board of Janus Academy, a non-profit specialized school for children and youth with autism spectrum disorder. Drawing on this background, Dieter brings a strong governance perspective, deep financial acumen, and a commitment to faithful stewardship to the St. Patrick’s parish finance committee.
Ermine Cummings
Ermine is a retired Social Worker and Child and Family therapist who migrated from Trinidad and Tobago and has lived most of her life in Calgary.
She has been a member of the St Patrick parish for the past 18 years and has served in a leadership role in the Legion of Mary for the past 7 years. She also serves in the Pastoral Care Ministry and as an EEM.
Ermine is a mother of 3, grand mother of 7 and great grandmother of a 3-year-old little girl.
Bob Wiseman
Bob came to St. Patrick’s Parish in 1977 when Mcleod Trail was a 2 lane highway and the the parish was in the original church built by Fr. Lacombe around 1905.
Bob’s first appointment was to set up a Sunday School Program. He then moved on to 25+ years with RCIA. He has also served with Pastoral Care at St. Patrick’s and at Foothills Hospital and made deliveries for SSVP. Currently he is Eucharistic Minister for the 9AM Sunday Mass.
Bob is a retired realtor and small business owner. He and his wife Lynne have 3 children and 10 grandchildren.
