CWL (Catholic Women’s League) Field Trip
Shepard Composting Facility Tour

When: June 11, 1:30 p.m.

The CWL is inviting all interested to join them in a tour of the composting facility located next to the Shepard Landfill.

Annual Knights of Columbus Stampede Breakfast

Come out and celebrate the Calgary Stampede with your fellow parishioners. A free will offering will be taken to help us fund the charities we support.

When: Sunday, July 14 after the 9:00 and 10:45 masses.

Solemnity of Our Lady’s Assumption

When: Thursday, August 15 at 6:30 p.m.

We are having a special day in honour of Our Blessed Mother that will begin with the rosary at 6:30 p.m., followed by the Holy Mass, exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, a talk, and Benediction with Fr. Jerome.

Knights of Columbus BBQ

When: Sunday, August 18 after the 10:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Masses.

Everyone is invited to the Knights’ BBQ!

Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary

On Thursday, August 22, we will celebrate the Queenship of Our Blessed Mother with a Rosary procession and Flower Offering at 6:30 p.m., followed by Holy Mass officiated by Fr. Poul.

Have you ever wanted to read the whole Bible but had no idea where or how to start? Join Fr. Poul’s daily Bible Reading Challenge! How does it work? We give you the daily readings to be done in your own homes at your own leisure. Invite two others to join you on this spiritual adventure; they in turn invite two others, and so on. More details to come!

Cookie Sale

The Seeds of the Word Religious Community is selling cookies to support their mission in Calgary.

When: They will be at all the Masses on the weekend of September 7–8.

Come buy these delicious homemade cookies (similar to a shortbread). Each container costs $5.00 with three flavour options: Guava paste, Coconut, and Cheese. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

Silent Retreat

Ladies of the parish: You are invited to join in a faith-filled experience by attending a mid-week retreat at Mount Saint Francis, Cochrane, AB.
