The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul is a unique Catholic Ministry that serves people of all faiths who are in need. The Conference has been active in St. Patrick’s Parish since March 13, 1989. We serve within our community and also assist other Parish communities. Our mission in the Society is to live the Gospel message by serving Christ in the poor with love, respect, justice and joy.
We also assist financially when needed. It is through the generosity of our parishioners that we are able to serve the poor (through our monthly collections after Mass which take place the third weekend of the month).
SSVP St Patrick’s Conference continues to respond to requests for assistance. Our usual sources of funds are currently not available (monthly after-Mass begging and Poor Box donations). We are not able to use donated food items because of health concerns. In order to ensure we are able to meet on-going demand, we seek your financial assistance.
